ASPA 25

Prof. Christos Athanassiou and Prof. Rumbos Christos participated in the Association for Science and Animal Production (ASPA) Conference held in Turin, Italy, between June 17 and 20, 2025. 

Prof. Athanassiou delivered a presentation outlining the overarching objectives of the CIPROMED project.

Professor Rumbos presented recent experimental findings on dairy waste management through insect-based bioassays, conducted within the framework of the Cipromed Project.

This conference provided a great opportunity to meet with Prof. Laura Gasco, Ilaria Biasato, Sara Bellezza Oddon, and Andrea Resconi to discuss upcoming activities related to the project.

While in Italy for the ASPA Conference, Prof. Christos Athanassiou and Prof. Rumbos Christos also had the opportunity to visit the facilities of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). They met with Francesco Gai to discuss ongoing and future activities related to the feeding trials involving fish from the UTH team within the Cipromed Project.
