Insects on the plate – Edible insects for food and feed

An interesting workshop, “Insects on the plate – Edible insects for food and feed” was organized last week on October 19th, 2023, at the XII European Congress of Entomology [ECE2023] that was held in Heraklion, Crete.
The workshop was organized as a joint event by the two ongoing PRIMA projects, the Advagromed Project and the Cipromed Project.
The workshop realized high attendance and interest by ECE2023 participants. Laura Gasco, Christos Athanassiou, and Rumbos Christos, partners of the CIPROMED project, had the chance to present CIPROMED to the workshop participants and share some first results.
The workshop ended with some insect-based food tasting that generated a lot of enthusiasm among the participants!
