Proof of Concept Event

Looking back at the Proof of Concept event that took place on November 25th and 26th, 2023 organized by the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Thessaly in Larisa, Greece. During the event, Christina Adamaki-Sotiraki gave an oral presentation, highlighting the valorization of agricultural byproducts for the mass rearing of the insect species Tenebrio monitor.

Alongside the presentation, the University of Thessaly’s team, with Marianna Rigopoulou and Christina Adamaki-Sotiraki, hosted a kiosk, exhibiting the insect-rearing trays featuring both adults and larvae of the Tenebrio molitor species.

Passersby explored the kiosk and asked questions, which gave the team of UTH the chance to explain the concept of the CIPROMED project.
