IFW 2026 Conference – Biscuits tasting and evaluation

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Prof. Dr. Ir. Arnold van Huis for kindly testing and evaluating the biscuits developed with the addition of Tenebrio molitor meal in the framework of the CIPROMED project, funded by PRIMA.

The tasting and evaluation took place during the Insects to Feed the World Conference, held from 9–12 June 2026 in Torino, Italy. This provided a valuable opportunity to receive feedback from one of the most internationally renowned scientists in the field of insects as food and feed.

Prof. van Huis has played a leading role in advancing scientific knowledge, public awareness, and international dialogue on edible insects, sustainable protein sources, and food security. His contribution to the field has been truly remarkable, and his feedback on our product is therefore especially meaningful for our team.
