InsectsPlus International Congress

 CIPROMED members attended the InsectsPlus International Congress, organized by DIL and ATB, which was held in Cloppenburg, Germany, on May 12-14, 2025 — three intensive days filled with engaging workshops, insightful presentations, and dynamic discussions.

Professor Christos Athanassiou presented at the workshop “Crawling into the future: insects in feed and food production” about the multi-actor co-creation in Cipromed Project.

Christos Rumbos participated in the same workshop, which featured presentations on both the Cipromed Project and the Advagromed Project. Additionally, Christos Rumbos chaired a session under the Insects Plus program, titled “Insect Biorefineries & Waste Valorisation.”
