UNIGHT EUROPEAN RESEARCHER’S NIGHT 2024
On Saturday 28th September, researchers of the Institute of Food Production Sciences of the National Research Council (CNR) in Turin, Italy organised a research workshop within the thematic cluster “Healthy Soil and Food” in the framework of the event UNIGHT EUROPEAN RESEARCHER’S NIGHT 2024, a European event that connects the world of research with citizens.
Researchers of CNR showed some of the scientific activities related to the food safety carried out in the CIPROMED project and in particular those related to the use of edible insects as food!
The stand was visited by approximately one hundred people of different age groups, who showed considerable interest and curiosity about the scientific topics discussed. In particular, visitors asked about sensorial, technological, and health aspects related to the use of insect flours in food products such as baked foods.
